Dear readers —
You may have noticed a long (okay, very long, perhaps even inexcusably long!) pause in free newsletter publication.
That’s because The Integration Project, which produces and publishes these newsletters, has been working on a new, unified approach to our activities. Starting in October, we’re launching a new editorial calendar, all built around simple, positive, low-cost-or-free, approaches to continuous improvement — at work, at home, at play.
This starts now, in a quiet way, but will begin with the publication of our new eBook, Just 30 Days to Happy.
The countdown has begun! Beginning next week, excerpts from this forthcoming title, as well as the next few in the series, will be part of what you can expect to receive from Turnaround Year.
To kick us off, an excerpt from the introduction to Just 30 Days to Happy:
I wrote Just 30 Days to Happy because I’ve learned that’s all it takes – to lay the groundwork for happier relationships, a healthier body, and a life full of hopeful potential. It doesn’t matter when you get started, or what you’ve done to get you to wherever you are now. Hope is possible – it’s even practical. Happiness isn’t something just for other people.
I know it can be done because I’ve done it. And the place I started from what pretty bad.
Four years ago, my life was headed in the wrong direction. How could I tell?
1. My relationship with my spouse was bad – we spent more time arguing than enjoying each other. Divorce looked like the only option ahead.
2. My work was in a tailspin, and financially things were getting scary. We were eating into our retirement savings, with no prospect for improvement.
3. And as I headed toward fifty, I hated the way I looked and felt. I knew my best days were behind me.
Of course, it doesn’t end there. 30 Days to Happy goes on to offer real, accessible, practical tools that anyone can use to begin to realize the radical benefits that we experienced.
It’s coming! ⏱ Just 30 Days to Happy will be available in, well, just 30 days! Check out news and see other excerpts through our new LinkedIn account, which you can follow right here: The Integration Project Press on LI
